Friends,

The St. Nicholas Philoptochos board has been busy planning for the new Ecclesiastical year and would like to invite and encourage parishioners to join us for a new and exciting year.

For those who are not familiar, the Philoptochos Society is the charitable arm of the Greek Orthodox Church, and its mission is to aid the poor and less fortunate while working for the “Beauty of His Holy House”.

To our former Philoptochos sisters who worked so hard in the beginning years, we invite you back—we miss your smiles.

To members and young people—make new friends; get involved with your church. Please bring a friend to one of our meetings and help us to build our family!

In addition to our monthly meeting, which include business and an activity, we get together to bake, assist in church events and organize social outings. We would love your input and assistance!

Monthly Events: Other Events:

Senior Luncheon—4th Thursday of the Month

Beacon Shores Nursing Home Visit—Second Friday of the Month

Macaria—as needed

Our Meetings:

  • March 21 (6:00 p.m.)
  • May 16 (6:00 p.m.)

Come, be with us. Invest your time and talents. Work with us to be the Light of our Lord, Jesus Christ!

God Bless,

Elene Berwanger
